What is NoderPay?
NoderPay is a Bitcoin payment platform that allows merchants to accept Bitcoin payments without having to install, synchronize, secure, and maintain their own Bitcoin payment server.
Merchants create a NoderPay account, create a store, connect their Bitcoin wallet using supported public wallet information such as XPUB/ZPUB, and then connect the store to XenForo.
Do I need to install BTCPay Server or run my own Bitcoin node?
No.
You do not need to install BTCPay Server, Bitcoin Core, NBXplorer, or maintain your own Bitcoin server. NoderPay manages the payment infrastructure for you.
Does NoderPay hold my Bitcoin?
NoderPay uses supported public wallet information such as XPUB/ZPUB for wallet integration and payment monitoring.
NoderPay does not require your Bitcoin wallet seed phrase or private keys.
Can NoderPay spend Bitcoin from my wallet using my XPUB/ZPUB?
No.
An XPUB/ZPUB does not contain the private keys required to sign and spend Bitcoin transactions. It allows supported address derivation and transaction monitoring.
However, XPUB/ZPUB information is privacy-sensitive and should still be kept confidential.
Will NoderPay ever ask for my seed phrase or private key?
No.
Never provide your Bitcoin recovery seed phrase or private keys to NoderPay or anyone claiming to represent NoderPay.

Select the store you want to use with XenForo and use its Store ID in your XenForo NoderPay payment profile.

How do I configure NoderPay in XenForo?
In the XenForo Admin Control Panel go to:
Setup → Payment profiles → Add payment profile

Yes.

Do I need to manually upgrade users after they pay?

When NoderPay successfully verifies the applicable payment and XenForo receives the corresponding callback, XenForo can process the payment automatically.
What happens if the customer doesn't pay the Bitcoin invoice?
The invoice can expire according to the applicable invoice settings. XenForo should not treat an unpaid or expired invoice as a successful payment.
What happens if Bitcoin takes time to confirm?
Bitcoin confirmation time depends on Bitcoin network conditions and the transaction fee selected by the sender.
NoderPay monitors the payment and updates its status as the transaction progresses.
Can I use NoderPay for multiple XenForo websites?
Yes.
You can create separate NoderPay stores for different websites/projects and configure the appropriate Store ID and API credentials for each integration, subject to your NoderPay account and plan limits.
Can I test NoderPay before making it available to all users?
Yes, and testing the complete payment flow before enabling it for production users is strongly recommended.
