/me Action Text brings it back. Start any line with /me and it transforms into a proper action message — italicised, coloured, third-person — no BBCode wrangling required:

Nostalgia, fully modernised:

• Works anywhere a message can be posted — threads, conversations, profile posts, comments — not just one corner of the forum.
• Full style control via a genuine XenForo style property: text, background, border, the lot. Change it once, and it updates every /me ever posted, instantly.
• A built-in "Simple" mode for anyone who'd rather keep things minimal and permanent — plain colour, zero dependency risk if you ever uninstall.
• Sensible by design: only triggers at the very start of a line, so a stray /me mid-sentence never gets misread as a command.
