We have released a new update with added features as well stability and performance improvements.
Important change that will affect every add-on:
All of our add-ons are now using Core Library in order to maintain shared helpers and utilities across add-ons for easier maintenance and to keep add-ons cleaner. Core Library also covers our branding for all add-ons in one switch without having to turn it off in every add-on.
This update will require Core Library 1.0.2.
New features
- Admins can view, edit and delete a member's contextual signatures in the admin control panel, from a "Manage contextual signatures" link on the user edit page. Requires the "Manage users" admin permission.
- Contextual signature changes are recorded in the member's change log, whoever makes them.
- Optional "all other forums" fallback signature, shown in any forum no other contextual signature covers. Off by default (Options > [MC] Contextual Signatures > Allow a fallback signature).
- Optional list of a member's active contextual signatures on the About tab of their profile, showing only forums the viewer can see. Off by default.
- Optional alerts when a scheduled signature starts and when it ends, with opt-outs in alert preferences. Off by default.
- When members are merged, the merged member's contextual signatures move to the remaining account.
- REST API endpoints:
GET/POST contextual-signatures/ and GET/POST/DELETE contextual-signatures/{id}/, with new mc_contextual_signature:read and mc_contextual_signature:write scopes.
Bugs fixed:
- Unticking "Active window" when editing a dated signature now clears its dates, so it becomes always-on again.
- An end date before the start date, or a date that does not exist, is now rejected with a clear error instead of being saved or silently dropped.
- Deleting a category whose child forums shared one signature no longer fails the cleanup job.
