illuminate is a minimal, modern theme for xenforo 2. A compact, dark header neatly contains your logo, navigation, a fluid search bar and user icons - while your main content is placed on a simple background for easy reading. Categories can be styled with their own unique colour scheme which is especially great for sports teams, brands, games or movies.




Style features


Theme Editor
All xenfocus themes come with the "Theme Editor" - an easy to use box which allows your members to customize the theme to their needs.



Coloured categories
Categories can be styled with their own colour scheme, which is inherited by the header and topics for consistency.



Light/Dark mode toggle
If you own both the light and dark versions of illuminate, a toggle icon in the header allows your visitors to easily change their colour scheme. Perfect for day/night time viewing!




Compact header
The dark header contains all of your header elements: a logo, navigation, search bar and user icons, which leaves plenty of space for your main content!



Background Picker
A background picker allows your members to select their own background/header image from a predefined selection.



Social icons
By enabling the social icons feature, you can easily promote your social media websites to your forum members.



Mega footer
A mega footer with configurable columns and content can be enabled and customized all within the theme settings.



Holiday effects
If enabled, subtle "holiday effects" such as animated snow for Christmas, confetti for New Years, a floating ghost for Halloween or a beating heart for Valentines can be shown on your theme.



Sticky threads
Sticky threads are separated from regular threads with dividers.



Sticky side column
If enabled, the side column sticks to the top of your browser window once scrolled for easy access. Compatible in modern browsers which support position: sticky.

Countdown

If enabled, a stylish guest message prompts visitors to sign in or register a new account on your site.
