Eggy Fishing & Aquarium​

Turn your XenForo community into a fishing ground members will want to keep coming back to.

Eggy Fishing & Aquarium brings interactive fishing, collecting, progression, achievements, challenges, expeditions and community competition directly into XenForo.

Members can cast their line, hook and fight fish, discover new species, build their tackle setup, grow their aquarium, complete challenges, take on Daily and Weekly Expeditions, unlock achievements, chase records and compete against other members.

It is built around replayability, giving members plenty to work towards every time they return.

Cast. Hook. Fight. Land it.​

Fishing is interactive from the moment the line is cast.

Members can:

• Cast their line
• Wait for a bite
• Hook the fish
• Fight the catch
• Manage line tension
• Reel the fish in
• Successfully land their catch

Fish vary by species, rarity and weight, so every cast offers another opportunity to land something better.

Fish Across Multiple Waters​

Members can fish across several different locations, each with its own atmosphere and presentation.

Current fishing waters include:

• Willow Creek
• Moonlit Marsh
• Deepwater Reservoir
• Saltwind Pier
• Pine Lake

Different waters give the fishing experience more variety and provide additional species to discover.

Build Your Fishing Journal​

The Fishing Journal gives collectors and completionists something substantial to work towards.

Members can track:

• Species they have discovered
• Catch counts
• First and latest catches
• Personal best catches
• Fish rarity
• Known fishing waters

The more members fish, the more of their Journal they can uncover.

Create Your Own Aquarium​

Members can keep selected catches and build their own personal aquarium collection.

The aquarium includes:

• Personal fish collections
• Animated aquarium presentation
• Aquarium capacity
• Optional public aquarium viewing

Administrators can decide whether members are able to view other players' aquariums.

Build Your Tackle Setup​

Members can put together their fishing loadout using different equipment.

Available tackle includes:

• Fishing rods
• Fishing reels
• Bait

Purchased tackle can be equipped and used while fishing, giving members another part of the game to build up over time.

Tackle Shop​

The built in Tackle Shop gives members somewhere to spend the fishing credits they earn.

Members can purchase:

• Fishing rods
• Fishing reels
• Bait

Equipment can then be added to their loadout and used during fishing.

Progress and Level Up​

Fishing contributes towards long term player progression.

Members can build up:

• Fishing experience
• Fishing levels
• Total catches
• Total catch weight
• Species discovered
• Personal records
• Fishing statistics

Regular play gives members visible progress and more reasons to continue fishing.

Achievements​

Eggy Fishing includes a full achievement system with progression based on actual fishing activity.

Achievements can reward milestones involving:

• Total catches
• Total catch weight
• Fishing level

• Rare catches
• Epic catches
• Legendary catches
• Mythic catches
• Trophy catches
• Challenge completions
• Fishing streaks
• Species records

Administrators can enable or disable the built in achievements and can also create their own custom achievements using supported Fishing statistics.

Challenges​

Challenges give members additional goals beyond normal fishing.

Current challenge types include:

• Repeatable Bounties
• Timed Bounties
• Daily Goals
• Featured Fish
• Daily Chain
• Weekly Contracts

Challenge categories can be enabled or disabled individually from the Admin CP.

Daily and Weekly Expeditions​

Expeditions add another layer of progression with structured fishing runs that rotate on Daily and Weekly reset cycles.

Each Expedition is made up of multiple stages generated from the existing fishing system. Members may be asked to:

• Catch a certain number of fish
• Catch fish from particular waters
• Land Rare, Epic or better catches
• Use specific bait
• Catch fish above a target weight
• Catch particular species
• Complete tougher final stages

Expeditions can include changing conditions and modifiers, making each run feel different from normal fishing.

Members can earn:

• Fishing credits
• Fishing XP
• Treasure catches
• Perfect run bonuses
• Daily completion streaks
• Best streak records

Daily and Weekly Expeditions include live reset countdowns so members can always see how long remains before the next rotation.

Completed Expeditions are also recorded through Expedition history, while community standings give members another way to compare their progress with other players.

Leaderboards and Community Competition​

Members can compete against the rest of the community through Fishing leaderboards and records.

Current competitive areas include:

• Most catches
• Total catch weight
• Biggest catch
• Community records
• Species records
• Expedition standings

This gives members more than just personal progression. They can also chase other players, take records and compete for leaderboard positions.
