All phrases start with deleteaccount_ for your convenience.
How it works:
When a user deletes their account, the username is changed to "user1234" where 1234 is the user ID. Post content is preserved but will show as authored by user1234.
Question and answers:
Q: Are all account details deleted?
A: Yes.
Q: Is there a log where the admin can view accounts which have been self deleted?
A: Yes. Look for a link called Delete account log in the visitor account menu. Only the admin will be able to see this link.
Q: If the user wishes to return can I as admin re-establish the original username?
A: Yes. Just edit the account in the admin control panel and update the username, email address and password.
