The email field dropdown has been improved. It now does more than suggest email domains: it also detects potential typing errors and provides instant feedback to users.
  • Corrects typing errors: When an incorrectly entered address, such as example@gmail.con, is detected, a “Did you mean: example@gmail.com” suggestion is displayed. Simply click the suggestion to correct the email address.
  • Instant warnings for unsupported domains: If an email domain that is not accepted by the system is entered, a warning appears directly in the dropdown without requiring the user to click the registration button.
  • Available in account settings: The same typing suggestions and domain warnings are also displayed when changing an email address in account settings.
  • Fixed positioning issues: The dropdown now stays correctly positioned beneath the email field, even when the page is scrolled or the registration dialog is opened.
Note: This update only improves the dropdown's user experience and does not change the existing system behavior. If users ignore the suggestions and warnings in the dropdown and click Register, XenForo's native warning dialog will continue to display the relevant warnings as before.
