No. ForumBot is fully managed. Your subscription covers the AI backend. No API keys, no provider accounts.
How does my bot learn my forum's content?
After subscribing, we work with you to ingest your forum content into your bot's knowledge base. You provide an export, we handle the upload.
What happens to my data?
Chat logs are stored locally in your XenForo database. Queries are processed by the AI backend in real time and not retained.
Can I control who uses the bot?
Yes. ForumBot integrates with XenForo's permission system. You decide which user groups can access the chat page, and @tag is supported for admins or admins and moderators.
What if I cancel?
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period. The addon remains installed (until you uninstall it) but regardless, the bot stops responding without an active license.
