  • I looked around quite a bit on vb for that April fools joke you were talking about, couldn't find it anywhere. I can only assume they moved it somewhere I don't have access to or it is gone. If I happen to stumble upon it I'll post the link for you.

P.S. congrats on the dismissed charges.

John moved it to the hidden recycle bin forum a few days after it was posted, as we had too many users who didn't understand that it was a joke.

    Plus ça change...

Probably why I was unable to find it...

That's the truth, but the best you can do is stay positive and keep pressing forward. There is no reason for putting negative thoughts into the things which we have little power to change. All everyone can do is hope that everything will work out for the best. :-)
Finally a good day for us. Just in time for 1.0.1 tomorrow too :)

No idea why there taking you guys to court , I have access to both scripts (vBulletin + XenForo) and none are the same. The code looks different.

I think I might go through the code for each and compare files for similar purposes just to prove that xF is awesome(have to wait til weekend as this will take some time...)

It's not something that is supported by the current data scheme - if I want something to appear in multiple forums it's possible to post in a forum, then move the thread to another leaving a permanent redirect, which does a reasonable job of achieving what you want.

True, - would be pretty much ideal - if the redirect was updated with the last post info when the original thread was updated - I presume that could be a way to accomplish it?

That would do it, yes. There's probably a way to do it by listening to the save event for threads and updating any referencing redirect threads...
Hi Kier. Thanks to your xenForo team for accepting my registration to this forum. Would you guide me to help post my 'Introduction" in the proper area of this forum? Good to meet you Kier

Hello Donald, I'm not sure what you're asking me, do you need help with something?

Donald, if you want to make a intro thread, you should do so in the Off Topic forum. Welcome to XenForo.
Are them four screens on your Information tab your home setup? How can you focus on so many screens, and how much is your electricity bill?!
When will version the version that supports rtl?

    Is it supported now?
    Kier
    Kier
RTL is not supported at this time. We have no firm timeline for its introduction, though it is something we would like to do sooner rather than later.

Ahh...XenForo the sweet smell of amazing software, great community atmosphere, rich source code, and the product is declared stable when it is actually stable. For that I think you K&M, bringing life back to the forum universe.

The product was declared stable long after it was stable. It's been stable (IMO) since the site opened.

Agreed. But at least we weren't told "it's stable" before it was "stable" XenForo is and has always been stable. I'm just glad to think that we are told something is stable when everyone agrees with the statement. :)
Congratulations on getting XenForo 1.0.0 stable out.

You and Mike have done a fantastic job, and I hope that this decade ends better than the last. ;)
Congrats there with all of the work yourself, Mike and staff have put in to build XF into the v 1.0 it is now and many more. Install went swimmingly and the ACP looks freshened up nicely I have to say.

PS. wish you we're idly online in the Staff sidebar box so I could have one-clicked this message to you ;-) Thanks for this shortly belated birthday present. :-)
Just wondering does our license start from today? e.g 12 months from today (Date of release?)

Hey Kier...wishing you the very best of luck for today and the future. After so many months of hard work, I'm sure you can't wait to get everything running.

Congratulations. You've done a splendid job and deserve every bit of it. :)
