I think I'd just give up and get a job doing manual labor... ok not really but I'd probably shut down until Chrome was able to be used again.

Chrome on El Capitan won't load XenForo forums for me. lol. I get like half the style and it just stalls miserably.

I hear ya. I actually looked into the cause. Specifically, it is caused by any site that contains search type inputs with a results attribute. I reported it as a bug to Apple and Chrome. No fix yet, though I know Apple are looking into it as they asked me for more info.
