A lot of hostility towards Jaxel & some of it was premature & he was quoted as it being the reason for being quiet. It's not a valid excuse. If people had given me $5K I would be killing myself to produce the goods regardless of what was said; I'd deliver and I'd make sure everyone knew it. Even now he may have a chance to bring it back but that would require the preconceptions to be incorrect and maybe they weren't.

Xenforo owners and staff should protect costumers from unreliable coders it clearly has been proven that jaxel can't be trusted and gets easily offended and thinks hiding in a corner makes it go away. If the community gave 5000 dollars to xfrocks or waindigo they would have had their portal 6 months ago.

If the XenForo owners and staff "protected" customers, there'd be no paid add ons in the resources section and XenReviews wouldn't exist. Custom work would be a lot harder to get done. Or, XenForo development would have to take a backseat to the reviewing process of developers and custom work jobs. I prefer it this way, the customers should do their own due dilligence and not fund people like Jaxel.

I completely agree with that. his lack of support on his previous add ons and ignoring bugs in his existing addons is proof enough for me. What really annoys me is his radio silence though just updating how the project is going once a month would solve all the frustration.
