250 characters isn't much really. I often struggle to say what I want in a status update of 140 characters and on a few occasions I've gone over the larger character limit for profile post comments. I'm sure you'll think of something and its better than having useless reviews of 'great' and 'poor'.

I attempted to review an add on by Chris earlier and got that notice. Literally prevented me from leaving a review at all because I had nothing else to say lol

Yeah, happens to me too with one review. Really couldn't find enough words...

I would tend to say that if you can't write (approximately) 3 sentences to explain why you think an add-on is useful or how well it works, it's probably not going to be a particularly helpful review for others or the author.
