Hi! I found a bug: when the add‑on is enabled, other attachments like Word, Excel, PDF and so on are not visible in the topics at all. Could you check it, please?

Eggy updated Eggy Thread Gallery with a new update entry:

Emergency hotfix for an attachment handling issue found in Eggy Thread Gallery 1.0.3.

This update was released after reports that non image attachments such as PDF, Word and Excel files could disappear from thread posts while Thread Gallery was enabled.

The attachment handling has now been corrected so Eggy Thread Gallery only affects image attachments where appropriate. PDF, DOCX, XLSX, ZIP and other normal XenForo attachments are left under XenForo’s native attachment system and remain visible whether the Hide native images option is enabled or disabled.

Thanks for reporting this. I’ve released 1.0.3a as an emergency hotfix.

The issue was caused by Thread Gallery interfering with XenForo’s normal attachment output. The fix now makes sure only image attachments are affected by the gallery logic, while Word, Excel, PDF, ZIP and other normal attachments remain visible as they should. The Hide native images option also now only hides the native image thumbnails. Other attachment types are left completely alone.

Thread Gallery 1.0.4 – User Requested Gallery Pagination

Version 1.0.4 introduces a user requested feature adding configurable pagination to thread galleries.

Administrators can now choose how many images are displayed per gallery page directly from the ACP, with any value between 1 and 1000 supported.

For example, if the limit is set to 100 and a thread contains 102 images, 100 will appear on the first page and the remaining 2 on page 2.

This gives larger or image heavy forums more control over gallery loading and performance.
