XF 2.3 Displaying a Category as a Menu Navigation Item

I want to create a specialized forum for my development projects, and attach it to the Menu Navigation at the top of my site. But I'm having an issue making it work.

I have a Menu called "Projects", that I added the Public Navigation:
2026-10-10 10_59_27-Edit navigation_ Projects _ Prismatica - Admin control panel — Mozilla Fi...webp

I created the Node in my forum:
2026-10-10 11_02_32-Edit category_ Projects _ Prismatica - Admin control panel — Mozilla Fire...webp

But when I click on the Projects navigation, I get The requested forum could not be found? Will XenForo not link to a Category like this?

I have another board as a child of this Category. When using the drop-down next to Projects on the menu, I only see that specific board, as I wanted.. But when clicking on Projects, I want the entire Category of boards to be displayed.

I'm sure this is probably something very simple to tweak, right?

Solution
Okay, I'll be the first to admit that I'm an idiot.
The reason why this wasn't working?

There's a cute little global option in the ACP -> Setup ->Options -> Node and Forum list: Create pages for categories.
Enabling that was half my problem. After I turned it ON, then I had to REMOVE the setting in the sub-category that I created in Forums -> Nodes -> Member Battles: Display in Node List. This too had to be set ON.
