Well, I did not change any permissions, and I would imagine this upgrade should also not change permissions. if it does that would important to know I think. Regardless, I did not change any of this kind of permission (the affected area) after the upgrade. Here is the important issue...

I have your standard library installed as well and upgraded to the recent update of this addon and it broke the forum, resulting in my being unable to reply to my own threads "insufficient privileges" ( dont think I had the problem with the previous version). The problem may be more complex...

I cannot remember what it was. I deleted it because it made such a mess, and now I cannot find it in the logs. Any suggestions for how to find it I would give it a try but I just looked through hundreds of pages of logs and nothing was revealed.

There have been several suggestions about this same topic that I think are being ignored, misunderstood or downplayed. Xenforo is a great platform but this is probably the biggest loudest flaw. Some of us run forums with a good number of members and many tiers of private forums and individuals...

I found the issue, it was an addon that broke the forums, when I disabled it they all went back to allow-reply. I am still not sure why or why the permissions analyzer failed to show it.

Every thread in several areas shows "You have insufficient privileges to reply here." yet when I run the permissions analyzer for those nodes it shows the users CAN reply. I checked many of those nodes and "Allow new messages to be posted in this forum" was checked YES in each case. I cannot...

Agreed, single node permissions edit is very time consuming
