Are you 100% sure ? The caching function is entirely self-contained within the add-on, I really don't see how it is possible it could affect anything like that outside of the add-on.

Turning off caching will do that but if you have a lot of posts it will cause the page to take longer to process.

It varies depending on the time frame of the list but it's in the order of days, there is an option to turn the caching off.

Results are cached to minimize server load so it will take some time to see them updated

It could be that on your system PHP does not have multibyte support enabled. To test you can run phpinfo and look for this section in the output mbstring Multibyte Support: enabled Multibyte string engine: libmbfl HTTP input encoding translation: disabled

I'm not certain if this is a feature or a bug but it appears that if you edit a post and add a user tag that tag does not get processed and the user does not get an alert.

We've noticed that alerts are no longer being generated when group threads are posted to unless the thread was created before we upgraded to 1.2. Is anyone else seeing this ?

That is all very strange, if you look at the add-on, 1) the folder name is WdbExtraStats not ExtraStats, 2) there is no file Installer.php
