Nope, never did. I try to avoid add-ons as much as I can so I am just manually doing it every once in a while. I still think it would be a good feature to have included in the base package though.

Interesting. Is there way for me to cron this to happen daily? Basically I would want to set a number of forums to purge and have it delete anything X number of days or older.

Hey, One feature I very much would like to see is being able to set forums to purge threads older than a admin defined number of days. This is awesome for news forums, event forums etc that don't want thousands of posts that have no relevance or search value. I swear I saw a mod to do this...

Nevermind, I found the issue right after I posted this. :)

Am getting this after copying the files over for the upgrade.. confirmed that I did copy the files into the right directory and permissions are correct. Any ideas?

I used it to convert my forums into a test instance, I only encountered 1 issue and xenForo fixed it within a day or so. The current xenForo release converts my IPB database flawlessly now. Just waiting on a skin to make the final switch. So yea I feel comfortable saying it works and you...

Er, that would be unfortunate. I spent $140.00 on a license for Xenforo based on it's ability to import my existing (totally stock, no mods) IPB.

Well, speaking for my own useage I need to find a way to correct this before I can migrate my install (this and adding a spoiler tag seem to be my gating issues), we just have way too many posts effected by this. So either a fix in the importer or perhaps a SQL query I can run to remove these...

I did not have this issue when I did my test convert and I believe I opted to not retain IDs.
