Just going of the images & my own testing this is a non "required" option so I would say everything is as intended.

Managed to get it working by placing forumList-menu after menu in thread_view & member_view
Using
.forumList-menu .menu-content {
max-height: 200px;
overflow-y: scroll;
overflow-x: hidden;
}
If only xf wasn't as simple, thanks so much for your help with this! Does save me copying and pasting the same code 20 times it is what it is when you want different descriptions to some prefixes & doesn't use default for the rest.

@Xon which is right prefix conditional statement for your add-on? I used the following on forum_view didn't cut it:
<xf:if is="$filters.prefix_id == 256">
Yeah i new i was at right place after digging further xon add-on multiprefix is not getting it to work i push this over to xon resource. Thanks for confirming/help!
