    You're taking my words out of context or maybe you do not understand.

    XenForo is very good at spam control. And there are also some modifications (2 free, 1 paid) that also add onto the core system, which you can use.

    To date, my site has had only 3 people actually pass through the spam system. My site supports, Anonymous, so you can imagine the bombardment of spam that "attempts" to get through, but fails.

    XenForo.com currently has their spam filters a little more "relaxed" than most people do. But this is only because as a company site... They want it to be very, super easy for people to sign up and post ... And because people here do share their own sites... More than often.

    As a results, sometimes it is required for them to manually go through things, rather than have it all automated.

    And NO, it is unrealistic to expect any person to be 100% without error.
