I'm struggling a little, to get my head around this... We've got 3 member levels/Groups, Member, Full Member and BST Classifieds. Member when you register, Full Member after a week and 20 posts and BST/Classified after 30 days and 50 posts. Full member gets you PM privileges, BST/Classified...

So I've got the Slider working nicely. Just a quick query, is it possible to feature a thread and it take a default image, rather than have to manually specify an image for each feature?

I just can't get this to work. Wherever I try to place the widget it doesn't appear. I'm obviously missing something obvious! Any pointers? Secondly would be it possible to have to widgets, one showing content from on thread and another widget showing content from a different are of the forum?

Found it! The said user is also a member of the "Vendors" group, this removes permissions from the BST. I'll need to look into this further... Thanks Gents

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I do not have anything under Node Permissions that says "users with permissions set." The Primary and Secondary User groups are correct. Confused...

OK, so it says (for one of them): Classifieds (BST): Not Set (No) But the user is in the Classifieds(BST) group. So, I still don't know why and how to correct...

I think I know what I have done, I clicked on the "quick check all box" which over wrote some permissions, granting user thread and post deletion rights. I have reverted these changes and I have now got what I set out to achieve. And I now understand the permission system much better! Thanks folks

What ever I have done, I have completely wrecked the permissions on my forum. It sounds and look straightforward, but it isn't..

Thanks I think that's what I done but I have users complaining that they can't see it even though they are in the correct groups... Revoked for member, full member and registered, allowed for Classifieds group...
