I have not done anything with it Mike, It's a fresh install today.

Managed to login directly and turned "use friendly url's off" and that has solved the problem. Does that mean i can't use friendly url's. And thank you for your quick reply's

I think i am being a bit dumb here but just checked analytics and all my users are seeing error message so i'm still loosing 75% of my traffic to error pages. I have put the code in but still no joy :(
