Is it possible to lock or close an entire XenForo forum for new posts but keep the existing ones readable? I’m only seeing the option to hide the whole site for maintenance. I’m considering stopping new posts because I get so few but I want to keep the posts for archive purposes.

I'd like to have certain widgets only appear on certain screen sizes. I saw there is a Display Condition field that says "This should be entered as a template-style expression. " Is there a way to use this field to achieve screen size-based display or lack thereof per widget?
