Don't really need any features. Forum is dead, past it's sell by date, one post now and again. Just there cos in it's day it was busy and there's loads of info on there for people to read. As the hosting is cheap enough then I'll keep it going, so though maybe a good time to go from 1.5.18 to 2.1.1

Cos that's the highest available for me to download right now unless I pay the $50, i get probably get around 1 post a week on the Forum so it's now many just a recourse of information than a busy Forum for members.

Why is 2.1 a complete write off?

So, i can't find anywhere that says Xenforo has put 2.1.1 at end of life, all i can find is XenForo 2.1 in will continue benefiting from support and updates. So with that I don't see any reason not to upgrade to 2.1.1

Yeah i'd have to uninstall all my addons and Themes I remember that now Don't want to spend money right now so would rather just go from where I am now to 2.1 Can i just upgrade from V 1.5.18 to V 2.1.1 with the built in upgrade tools?

So basically I've been out of the loop for many years now. My Forum is still running on the old V 1.5.18 and at the moment the latest version I can choose to download is V 2.1.1 Any help/pointers of what I need to do to upgrade from V 1.5.18 to V 2.1.1 ? Thanks

Xenforo is a proven Forum software which has been tried and tested for years, with many sites migrating to it from many different platforms. Once you go with Xenforo you never look back, i was a huge VB person with a few big Forums running on VB and sat on the fence before switching and paying...

That's a shame as they had some good skins, i use one and was hoping they were going to carry on. They were slow in the upgrading of V2 Xenforo skins.

I had to do the same but then clicked on 'Images' put me right off my dinner :p

Yeah I noticed that too, not a big thing but maybe if andy added that into the info of the add on it could help others as i wasn't sure what was what after following the link... Yep andy does some great add ons...

If you hover your mouse curser over the flag will it show the county of the flag?
