So I recently took my XF forum off the cloud and put it on a self-hosted instance. The cloud version came with all the XF add-ons, but I never used the Resource Manager so I didn't buy it when I transferred off the cloud.
Now the lack of the resource manager is causing errors to pop up. For...
They are external images displayed via the <img> HTML tag. I.E <img=[wikipedia's image of a cherry]> I've played around with this a bit more and figured out some weird stuff.
How long does/should it take for a change to the user criteria on a notice to update? Do certain combinations of user...
I'm not sure how this is supposed to help; the problem isn't that guests are viewing images they shouldn't, it's that they can't see images they should be able to see. Is this just something baked into Xenforo I need an external add-on or plugin to fix?
Not sure if this is a bug or just an issue with permissions, so erring on the side of caution and posting it here. I'm trying to allow guests to see images I link in notices using HTML <img> tags. However, notices with these tags do not load for guests at all, though some report that they do...
Fair, I'll probably do so. Question; what does the 'This site is currently being upgraded, please check back later' notification actually mean in normal operation? When does it appear, what does it mean, etc?

I have a XF cloud hosting package right now, but I'm trying to migrate to self-hosting on a linux VPS server. I have a docker and nginx set up, and a backup of the forum transferred to the server for testing purposes.
However, problems start when I look at the readme that came with the backup...
Hi, sorry for the slight necro of this thread, but I'm in a similar situation except my import is from a cloud version, not from a different self-hosted version. Does the importer work the same way in both cases or is there a different procedure to follow?
Nevermind, managed to fix it. Turned out there was an issue where it wasn't properly distinguishing between warnings for members and warnings for posts.
Hi. I have a strange issue with Warnings on my forum.
For starters, Public Warnings are not displaying properly for users. They appear to be breaking more or less at random; some users can see public warning icons on their posts. Some guests can't see those same warnings, while some other users...
