You could remove the "Show user as staff" from the administrators and keep it enabled for the moderators, and you could also remove the "Staff Member" from banner and just keep their actual groups.

Xenforo is very easy to install, The only thing you really need is the requirements (Most website hosting companies already have them) and you need to create a MySQL database, And after that is quite simple, Xenforo also has a installation service which you can purchase (Last I recall anyways)...
