Good call, even though I had set permissions to 777 through Filezilla I took a look again after you mentioned this and realized that I wasn't the owner so after a chown chmod I got past that part. Now the problem is the upgrade is extremely slow after about 15 minutes I am at importing master...
I'm having an issue trying to upgrade my forum to 2.2.1 after a few days of having to re-install my forum due to some server issues. I am currently getting this error stack:
ErrorException: [E_WARNING]...
Currently having the same issue and seeing this error:

Recently 2 of my XF2.1 sites started returning a page not found error for a minority of users when clicking the what's new/new posts dropdown. I had the issue happen to me which went away after clearing my browser's cache, but my members having the issue said they've tried that, logged in and...
Have you had any luck resolving this? I am having the same issue reported by a few of my forum members, it has seemed to come up more frequently since I started using cloudflare as well. From all the tutorials that I have seen I do believe that I have cloudflare set up correctly.
I did upgrade to 2.1.1 thats when the problem started. I apologize as I realize I said 2.1 before, I should have clarified that it was 2.1.1, I went from 2.0.11 I believe to 2.1.1.
None of the default Xenforo smilies work when clicking on the smilie icon in the editor, the available smilies don't even show up. They do show up if you type the shortcode in the message. The smilies are installed and worked fine in the editor before upgrading from 2.0 to 2.1. I even deleted...
I think I'm maybe not being clear. I used XF 1.5 to convert my forum to XF about a year ago, then updated to XF 2.0. The smilies worked fine on 2.0 and every revision since then. I just updated to XF 2.1 and now the smilies are broken.
I understand that I have to convert the database to get...
Ok so what would I look at that caused the smilies to not work now that I upgraded to 2.1? I have checked that they are uploaded and are enabled but clicking on them in the editor doesn't bring up the box.
That must be it, this one ran 1.5 during a conversion from another forum software. Would that break the smilies when upgrading to 2.1 though as they aren't working unless you use the short code when they used to show up in the editor.
I'm not sure if what I'm experiencing is related to this or not but I just updated to XF 2.1.1 from 2.0 and nothing shows up when clicking on the smilie menu. The standard smilies appear in the ACP under content-smilies but none of the new ones that XF 2.1 brings. I have convert short code to...
Is there anywhere else in Xenforo that this needs to be turned on? I constantly have people unhappy with having to resize images before uploading them, I just tried your settings and even with a 5mb limit and the max image size set to 1024x1024 I still get an image too large error.
Can I use a URL in that image path or does it have to start with @xf-xm etc. I have put URLs for images that I have there and nothing has changed. I have my Logo area set up as below and it looks a little plain so I am hoping to add a background image in.
