Have you tried Ozzmodz login spaminator add-on? It works great for me. I never have a problem with spammer registrations. I do not use any forum of captcha for registration. Looking at the "spaminator" log on my forum, this add-on has blocked 25+ attempted spam registrations in the past 24...

I agree. With Ozzy leaving the XF forums, his great add-ons will be less visible to XF users...and therefore less marketable. Just my opinion.

Whatever the reason for the dispute, I will continue to the use the OzzModz add-ons that I have installed. The OzzModz add-ons work as advertised.

Assuming XF is processing bounced emails properly, you won't see any messages in your bounced@ email inbox. That is because XF deletes them as they are processed. You should a bounced email address appear on your Amazon SES "suppression list"

Did Amazon SES say why they rejected you? I was rejected by SES also on my initial application. However, SES asked for more detailed information, which I provided, and then received approval to get "out of the sandbox". And SES has been helpful from the standpoint of reducing bounced emails.
