Breaking News - Woman blown...
This will work best for Brits, but I am sure others will get how clever this rewrite is of Billy Joel's 'We Didn't Start The Fire' for those that remember the 70s & 80s....
We didn't own an Ipad....
And migration from vB to xF is simple enough, so maybe that's your answer - SMF > vB > xF ?
I am sure you could find someone on here who has a vB licence that would do stage 1 or both stages for you, for a small fee, saving you wasting money on buying a vB licence.
If you could read the 'licensed customer' forum on the vb.com site, which is hidden to non-licenced members, due to the fact that it's a real eye-opener, you wouldn't be considering using vB. ;)
Also take a look at these graphs from @digitalpoint, particularly the one second from the bottom of the page - https://tools.digitalpoint.com/cookie-search
vB is still the market leader in commercial forum software, but only because they have been around a lot longer than xF, the vast majority...
Over 10,000,000 posts - urban75 converted from vB4, which they described as "frankly, a nightmare" whereas with xF they were "blown away by the functionality" - Converting a “Big Board”: vBulletin to xenForo Migration
WOW!
It's good to see things moving on so quickly since the legal action got sorted, especially as a certain other software is in a bigger mess than ever, certain idiots across the pond must be pulling their hair out. :D
This should make interesting viewing - on BBC1 tonight @ 8.30pm BST for viewers in the UK & Ireland, and those in Europe with big dishes pointed at the right Astra satellite and with Freesat, Sky or FTV boxes. Available soon after for catch-up on the BBC iPlayer.
It will also be shown on BBC...
