In my experience, the number actually using the dark styles is much less than 25% - probably more like 5% - but those using it were very happy when I gave them the option. One is a hunting and fishing forum where the dark style gets used both at night and in bright sunlight. No harm in offering...

I don't understand: how does a spammer have 3000 posts? Are they all spam? If so, why did you let him post that many before catching him? Normally, you'd just want to delete the spam post and ban the user, leaving the rest of his posts in place. Rather than using the regular spam cleaner...

The problem with banning IPs is the the strategy is over-inclusive and may well cast the net over genuine visitors and genuine potential members.

Hi Joey. Long time no talk. :) Absolutely, as long as it's not the first post in the original thread. Just enable moderation, check the post or posts you want to move, select move, select new thread, and give the new thread a title.

As Tracy says. ^^^ I don't they have to be a Super Administrator, just belong to the Administrator secondary group so you don't allow them to go poking around all the nooks and crannies of the ACP. That said, be very careful who you promote like this. Or find another way to do it.

@Ozzy47 has a suite of antispam tools you might want to look at. They're not cheap but they work well. One of them is specifically for contact form spam.

When I was running vB4 Suite, hardly anyone used the blog feature. Eventually I just disabled it.
