To answer questions:
The moderator only has permissions within his/her subforum which in my case is a private forum. I want to be able to give some of these moderators the admin ability to create child nodes so that they can diversify their private forum without granting them access to the admin...
I have the need for a few of my moderators that oversee private child nodes (subforum) to have the ability to create/delete child nodes in their respective forum. It would be quite burdensome if an forum admin had to do this for all the private subforums.
Or simply put, allow moderators to be low level administrators in the forum they are assigned so that they can create and delete nodes of child forums.
I think it would be very cool if each of the moderators in each subforum (potentially 100s) could create nodes in their respective subforum without having the ability to tank the entire node structure...
But won't that make him an administrator over the entire forum. Is there a way to only make someone an administrator just for the subforum? Or did I miss something?

I have several private nodes or subforums and each one has its own moderator. Is there a way that the moderator can can create another node within that private subforum?
