Of the accounts that do get flagged (most spam accounts are rejected outright by the spam filter), 95% are spammers that have a spammy link in their homepage field. Having the homepage field on the User Approval page would save a lot of steps.

I'm assuming that when I reject a [spam] registration from the Admin CP, that user is not reported to the spam services the same way as the Spam Control function? Shouldn't there be a fourth option called Spam that takes care of this?

Spammers found a way past the spam phrase filter. Create a dummy thread that gets posted and then go edit it with the spam text that includes links. I have www, http, https in my spam phrases. This was the users first post, the maximum messages to check is set to 5.
