Ok looks like this latest build gets rid of the error messages that were occuring when I hit Save but the email address still doesn't sync to Joomla. PM me with any details that you need from me. Thx!
Sorry for the delay in response..I've been tied up with other projects and traveling. I will likely give this a shot tonight. Thanks for your hard work.
Sorry man but it's still not working for me. When I hit Save after updating my email address, a popup appears with the following errors:
include_once(Zend/Db/Adapter/Mysql.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory
XenForo_Application::handlePhpError() in...
Yes I changed it from the frontend of XF in the Contact Details section. I'm not sure where the setting to require confirmation is. I only see that for when a user first registers. When I changed mine XF just said that I "may" have to confirm the email address.
Thx Coop! I'll give this a try and let you know how it works out
EDIT: Changed my email address on the XF side and it didnt change within Joomla. Does the email sync only work when done manually within JFusion?
One additional thing that I just noticed. When I click on the profiles of any members that I transfered over to XF from Joomla, it shows that they've been members since Dec 31, 1969. I would think it should either show the date that I transfered them over to XF or the date they became members...
Hi Coop,
The email confirmation problems went away after I disabled then enabled both JFusion and the bridge on the Xenforo side. It's been working ok since then. Issues 2 and 3 are still the same.
My config is:
Joomla as slave
Xenforo as master with everything under "user options" set to...
Installed and it went pretty well. Used the Usersync function in JFusion to transfer my Joomla users over to Xenforo. There seemed to be a few hiccups with that though:
I had a couple of users who were considered to be active on Joomla show up as "Awaiting email confirmation" on Xenforo.
Also...
I'm having timezone issues as well on Android. Timestamps on messages within the Android app are 4 hours ahead of what they are on my forum
Edit: Notifications also dont seem do be working on Android
I'm also interested in this add on. Ive recently installed Xenforo on my Joomla site and was going to have all of my users sign up again via Xenforo. This looks like a nice way to avoid that and mesh the two systems. Will install over the weekend and test it out
Just installed a custom version of the plugin received from Jayeley on the tapatalk forum that fixes an issue with not being able to log into private forums. Will this fix be rolled into the next main version?
