I had a forum to upgrade from 1.1.1 to 1.5.8. Oman handled this update wonderfully. Quick work and speedy messages. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anybody. Great job!

Ah, replacing install_lock.php seems to have allowed the upgrade to initiate - thanks!

Those files/folders are still intact. I had the issue with a destructive replace with Transmit the first time. Used Merge the second time, and have now used Filezilla.

Despite uploading the 'upgrade only' files multiple times, I do not get the option to upgrade my installation - only do a fresh install, which states it will remove all existing data because it detects my config.php file. Help appreciated!

Why would you want them to be? They're not publicly viewable, and they show a track record of a user, which could become useful if they are being suspended/banned in the future.
