From what I can see thread:write is set up and has a green ticket next to it already but its still asking me to add to an existing thread only rather than make a new one.

They can still reach your page even with no permissions so the chances are that the stats you are seeing arent that they are freely viewing it but are on the homepage
I'm not sure that would work because we use very feature rich article styles and imagery with back links and shortcodes etc that are directly integrated between the platforms using the existing API service and its associated plugins.
We’ve purchased the plugin and have hit a roadblock with how it works. Our old plugin was set up to take a post made in WordPress and automatically push it to XenForo as a brand-new thread each time, which was exactly what we needed.
That plugin is now outdated and no longer works with XF 2.x...
