Thanks @Chris D. If I may ask a follow up question, is the S3 based internal_data cached locally on the server? I know that when I have used s3fs, which I find to be terribly inefficient, that it creates a large local cache.

@Chris D, thank you for this add-on and excellent instructions. I just ported the JetBoaters.net forum's 150 GB of attachments to DO Spaces and found your instructions to be spot on. One point that I wondered about is would it be possible and beneficial to add an internal_dataUrl entry...

As an update, we went through a long process of turning on add-ons one at a time and eventually located the offending add-on. After reporting the issue the developer provided a patch within hours. The issue has not been reported in recent testing.

All Add-ons are disabled now.

I have started this process. Currently the forum is Rebuilding Permissions.

The attachments are stored in the default file system location.

Unless Varnish is included inside Xenforo without adding it to Apache we are not running Varnish or any other caching system. Just Apache and Xenforo.

@Chris D, @Brogan here is a video of the issue occurring. The incorrect images are displayed at 0:55 and 2:23.

Here is a second example. The URL is correct but a different image that appears on the same page is displayed. Using Chrome 78.0.3904.108 I saw the wrong image displayed on five of fifty command + R page reloads. Using the same Chrome with command + shift + page reloads that clear the cache...

@Chris D, unfortunately it is reproducible. We have members complaining about this using Chrome and Internet Explorer. I am not aware of any add-on that we have installed that would randomly alter which image from the page is displayed. If you repeatedly load the URL...
