Thanks for the replies guys...one last question... Should the XF forum be in a separate directory from the original vb forum? Does it matter? The benefit of having them in the same directory seems to be SEO, but I don't know how much of an issue that is.

I ought to be able to tell by the theme of the site what it is about it. If it didn't explicitly say "gaming" I'd have no idea what the site is about. It's a xf forum so it's not all bad. ;) But Wing is right, it needs some style, some design to it.

vb does the same thing and has been for at least a couple years now (I've been using the spam feature for quite a while on my own vb board)...2-3 clicks and all the spam from a spammer is completely gone, just as it is in XF's feature.
