For some reason all my custom Smilies have sprite offset data despite sprite offset mode being disabled. Applying a spite offset to an image which isn't designed for it, and it selects a zero-by-zero region to display. The link, and alt-tag and such is actually there, but you can't interact with it

For some reason when I post a table, the padding or margin is big.

When I post two tables one after the other, there is a huge gap,margin, or padding. I checked the style properties (I'm using skin1), and they are blank.

I check the table properties in the editor and they are blank as well. I have all padding and margins set to blank or zero.

See my attachments to see what I'm talking about. I just can't put the two tables close for some reason.

Any idea on what I'm missing to resolve this?

I can't reproduce, certainly a css problem (may be with your style). Send me the Bb Code codes of those tables (edit the message and use the Bb Code editor).
 
Thanks. I honestly didn't think to try it in another place. It does work elsewhere.

I'm finding that this editor works on the forums, just not nicely with other resources.

I'm going to do some checking in the resource that is giving me issues.

I don't understand. I was just asking for the code source of your post (using Bb Codes and not some Wysiwyg Format).

The editor should work everywhere. If the result of the posting is different, as I already told you, it's again a css problem. May be the script you're using have set up some css properties with a too high level of priority (ref), which override this addon css properties.

When I post in Xencarta (the wiki) it uses the same editor, but it doesn't like tables. If I post this in a thread on the forum, it posts just fine.

I'll post the CSS in another reply since it's over the limit here.

Any ideas why it would space the tables so far apart?
 
For skin1 which it references as the table style, and I checked the style properties and there is nothing listed in there for padding, margins etc. So this is throwing me for a loop.

One member here has faced the same problems with the addon Xencarta and with one of my other addons (bbm advanced Bb Code) in February of this year. The problem seems Xencarta doesn't deal with the XenForo "require" tag both for JavaScript and Css. One solution given by the developer was to manually add other addons css and javascripts to the template "EWRcarta_PageView". But even after that some css problems remain with the advanced Bb Code "tabs". I've been proposed to make my css "more descriptive", but I didn't do it. I'm not here to make the support for other addons, especially when there's a lake of communication.

I already enable the comment permission for all groups in the Media page and then when i enable this add-on, all members were unable to comment o the media (video, image,...), but when disable your add-on by using the default xenforo text editor, everything is back to normal, all groups are able to put their comments on the media.

Please help to fix this bug...

@Ski-whiz had this problem and said it has been fixed (ref). At the moment, my answer remains the same than here.

About your problem with pasting from Word, it's coming from a greedy regex inside the paste plugin of TinyMCE. I've written an alternative regex, it's working with Word 2007 but I can't say more about other versions. I will add this information in the official bug report [ref] and let TinyMCE developers decide what to do with it. If you still want a quick fix, edit this file, search the first (and only the first) regex:

Just want to confirm what you meant is that i can use this add-on as Text editor of forum post, and in the Xen Media Gallery i can use the Xenforo default Editor?

I still don't know how to configure it. Could you or anyone else can explain how to do this?

i am not sure if it is me but i have this option enabled:

i cleaned my browser cache, my server caches, cloudflare caches, i also enabled debug mode to update the java script version and i still cannot resize the editor it's like on a dead lock

even vertical doesn't work. this needs to be looked into because i have cleaned everything out and still locked unable to resize

it used to work i believe 1-2 version's ago

Just want to confirm what you meant is that i can use this add-on as Text editor of forum post, and in the Xen Media Gallery i can use the Xenforo default Editor?

I still don't know how to configure it. Could you or anyone else can explain how to do this?

even vertical doesn't work. this needs to be looked into because i have cleaned everything out and still locked unable to resize

That's a bug of TinyMCE 4.1.1. It has been corrected last friday with the release of the 4.1.2 version. I will add it tomorrow on the Github version.
 
In XF 1.3.3 with TinyMCE 2.2.1: I lose all of my formatting when I past content into the editor, even when I turn "paste as text" option off.

@Chris D resolved this for me. He said it was a work around, and he didn't let me know what he did to change it, but post this question in that resource, and I amd sure he will help you out. He's really good about staying on top of potential problems.

The "past as text" option is made to remove all the text formatting. Now about the "normal past", I can't confirm. I'm using now the 2.2.2 version and it's working (the paste plugin has been modified). This version is on Github but I will also release it today here.

I look forward to installing 2.2.2., as I was certainly pasting text with the "paste as text" option off and the content was still posting as text.

Further, I turned-off version 2.2.1 and it seemed that the XF default editor no longer functioned as it had previously, as content pasted to the default editor was no long capturing all of the formating being pasted into it. Are there mofications to the default XF install that this Addon makes?

don't i have the latest version?

is it the add-one it self that needs updating or Tinymce?

cozz i am unsure what to edit or update manually if it is just Tiny MCE is this in Xenforo Core? or something else...

or will you just release a new version of TinyMCE Quattro for xenforo and that will fix it?

i assume once ver 2.2.2 comes out it, it will be different then current git hub ver.. i just downloaded

i just finished installing git hub ver. still cannot resize... even after all cache cleaning and resetting my browser..
