With XenForo 1.1, it's now possible to (optionally) define individual smilies from a sprite image. This video shows you just how easy it is to use the system.

Unless you make animated sprites. But that's not really something I'd recommend.

I don't know if it is a bug or not but I got alerts for both the threads (this thread and the one isolated from this). Although, neither I have any posts/comments in the other thread nor I am watching that thread. Any thought?

The party has died down here and i quickly had a few minutes to design (attempt the woot smiley) I'll probably redesign or tinker with it when I'm a little sober. Obviously, the originals eyebrows are raised higher, I wont be able to do that or entertain that as it would entail me increasing the size of the canvas which I'm not prepared to do as a size consistency imo is needed
And it's late, so it may not be as good as you hoped for but it'll probably go through a re-design.

What's with the fascination with sprites lately? How huge of a difference does it make? I tried a unified sprites modification from vbulletin.org and all it did was slow down how fast the images came up. It didn't make my site any faster either. Would love to see a real difference on xenforo cause it's useless to me on vb4.
