Wow, that'd be brilliant! (y)

Could the "New User Admin notification" include:
  1. link to user profile
  2. date of birth
  3. IP address

hi

yes it will be possible.
i've implemented:
username, link to profile, boardname, boardurl (i'll check if i can add the date of birth too, if it's available)

all this variables can be used in the phrases:
  • conversation subject
  • conversation message
  • welcome mail subject
  • welcome mail message
  • team mail subject
  • team mail message
  • welcome thread subject
  • welcome thread message

Anybody could create me 8 phrases in english and send me them in an conversation?
I think they would be much better as mine created with google translate
badteeth.gif

I know we had this already in an other thread here, but if i would take them, they wouldn't be related to each other.

  • conversation subject
  • conversation message
  • welcome mail subject
  • welcome mail message
  • team mail subject
  • team mail message
  • welcome thread subject
  • welcome thread message

thx:)

Ok, I'm not sure whether this is good enough or not, but here it goes. :)

I also realized that could the Administrator have an option to decide whom to include in the "team" that the "team mail" goes to, i.e. include moderators or not?

Also needed would be an option to specify which user account (user ID) would the welcome conversation and thread be created from.

have you checked the video? http://ragtek.org/videos/nuns.htm ;)

Seems you have it all covered. (y)

Just fixed the following line in the text above [2 places].

Thank you for registering at "{name of forums}"! We are glad to have you join our community and hope that you shall enjoy your stay with us.

If I may, "shall" is a bit strong and legalistic. "Will" will do just fine, as in: we're glad you've joined our community and hope that you'll enjoy your stay with us. If I was writing a legal memo, I shall use shall to beat my opponent into submission. :)

Hahahaha! I guess that's absolutely ok. :D

Fixed it in the text in the post above as well.

Does the rest sound fine? Please suggest any other alterations you may consider necessary. :)

thx for the texts:)
i've implemented them now, but they will be also very easy to customize

As this is no longer supported, I've closed the thread.

Let me know if you want it reopening ragtek.
