Lol... PM me your IP or something and I'll check if you want.
I could people mentioned it, but it's been difficult to track down because it's been fine for me...Running really slow at the minute Shawn. Loading find-new/threads taking about 45 seconds to render the page.
Yep, looks that way:Yeah... I think it's about 50% packet loss somewhere upstream on some route... really confused right now
Much faster for me now. Not sure how your switching network is set up, but could it be a faulty port on the switch that was causing the problem with access to one of the servers?I think my switch in the data center might be dying... lol 50% packet loss was resolved by rebooting the switch... and by "resolved" I mean brought it down to 10% packet loss or so. Seriously... wtf?
I'm still not entirely sure... Rebooting switching DEFINITELY fixed the bulk of it, but still seeing some packet loss.Much faster for me now. Not sure how your switching network is set up, but could it be a faulty port on the switch that was causing the problem with access to one of the servers?

The uplink connection is fine... certain servers get no packet loss. But servers behing the load balancers do. We have a primary and hot backup load balancers (obviously on different ports on the switch)... Switching all traffic to the backup load balancer routes all traffic through different port/ethernet cable, but still the same amount of packet loss. Load balancers are not under high load at all. Whole thing is really weird.
Yeah... my magic isn't strong enough to fix it entirely though.Did you try adding some magic?

There must have been some problems with the internets last night.Yeah... I think it's about 50% packet loss somewhere upstream on some route... really confused right now
Not sure how rebooting my switch would have helped the whole Internet get fixed, but I'll just pretend it did. There must have been some problems with the internets last night.
I was getting odd packet losses as well.
How did you know your switch needed rebooting ?rebooting my switch
