FWIW, the XSS flaw was in the third party SWFUpload Flash file, rather than any code written in-house.Indeed, security issues can happen.
Thankfully both XenForo and vBulletin patch them quickly and without fuss.

Today is Tuesday and I'm waiting for the Good News![]()
As of yet, there are no updates.
I think he knew that.Shamil was indeed referring to the lawsuit, as that is the topic of this thread.
in fact there are good news:
XenForo 1.1.3 Released (Includes Security Fix)
http://xenforo.com/community/threads/xenforo-1-1-3-released-includes-security-fix.32891/
http://xenforo.com/community/threads/xenforo-security-fix-for-1-0-0-1-1-2.32890/Except some of us been waiting so long for a update we can no longer even get security fixes. I will not pay to renew my licence when I am not sure which way the product is going. We should be able to get a security patch for free.
Ok so I take back my remark about it being free. Why would one have to search the forums when they have a customer section for downloads?
You don't. It's in the announcement forum and was released at the same time.Ok so I take back my remark about it being free. Why would one have to search the forums when they have a customer section for downloads?
It was also mentioned and linked to in the email to all customers.Well I do have to search the forums, if I went to the customers area to look for it but there is no download link there. I didn't see it there so I thought I had to pay for the security patch. Had I searched the forums I would have found it. Apparently you can not understand that much.
Shhh! That isn't enough for people! And on their Facebook and Twitter.
Did I miss something that the (security) update is suddenly part of the lawsuit?
