I was under the impression Kier helped out on tweaking a forum style for AVForums. Though regardless I can't see the problem with him just playing around with code for his own enjoyment, it shouldn't really need to be a paying client.
Tinkering with code for himself could imply work on XenForo. Client work would provide a reason outside of their claims for his coding. For all I care, Kier could have been rewriting a script in hello world. :D The legal system is screwed up. :)

I read the PDF's regarding features/coding etc. and thought ...

... so why didn't all of those things make it into vB4.0 then? ... :ROFLMAO:

Agrhhhh...Chrome 10 does not show the year. I open in Firefox 4 and it does show year.
Check it.
I think that has to do with "Old" vs. "New Twitter"--are you logged into a Twitter account on Chrome? Twitter's been messing with their layout and when logged out you currently see the old layout, which includes the year (the screenshots above confirm that).

Good point! Yes, shame really as you would think that the better approach from IB would have been to 'welcome' the new competition and to 'relish' the chance to improve their own product and compete on features and quality with the other products.

Oh well, hopefully the right decision will occur in the end.

I'm extremely disgusted after reading these PDF files and furious that the court would even give this trial a chance.

It's one of the reasons why I never read the docs. You clearly have 3 people trying to make a living and a disgruntled hardon spitting out sour grapes because they've create a top notch product and a satisfied community. Jealousy is such an ugly emotion that only exposes ones incompetence.

And some more documents.

{Proof of Order} - I don't think we need to see this.
http://cl.ly/2w1d2p1N1S2V1m1u1j3R Proposed Order - they want all of our informations (?)

ummm they got the date wrong on that last doc. May 16, 2011?... is not even here yet.

Jelsoft and vBS requested a copy of the XenForo SVN repository under CPR Part 19 because we stated that it contains evidence that supports our defense. We provided a copy of the repository to them on Wednesday.
Gag! They might learn how to apply structural code to vB, but then...... They would need to learn how to open files on an Apple computer.

It's hard to teach an old dog new tricks. More than likely they'd rip of xenforo first and claim it as their own and that it was inside the software version long before xenforo but they never got around to committing it

I really doesn't matter.
It's like someone following a recipe to cook something. Just because you read it on paper, it doesn't mean it will come out as good as someone who knows how to cook.

I have read some of IB code staff background.... creating custom hacks for IB run forums... That the talent they brought into vBsi... They could not even rely on them for a rewrite of vB 4, as it was giving to India.... That did not go to well and I think it was cancelled so after. I doubt they can get vB 5 out this year. I wonder how many inconsistency are within all these docs.
