Hi @Veer

This looks like a really interesting addon, I've been looking for a quote addon. A few questions:

• Our old software used to randomly show one quote on page reload in a widget - is this possible (we have about 150 quotes)?
• Some quotes are forum members, some are not. I see you can manually create authors, but can you just assign the quote to forum member...and ideally that would show/link on their profile?
• Some of our quotes are multiple members (typically 2), are you able to have a quote linked to two authors/members?
• I used https://xenforo.com/community/resources/xb-badges.8456/ - ideally we'd like to be able to award badges if a member had X amount of quotes, would this be possible?

Not in the current version, but this is something we could consider for a future update.

Some quotes are forum members, some are not. I see you can manually create authors, but can you just assign the quote to forum member...and ideally that would show/link on their profile?

Initially, no. However, in the v2.3.1, if no author is selected, the quote now automatically shows the quote creator user's username and avatar, linking to their profile. This way, member-submitted quotes are displayed neatly without creating a separate author.

Currently, this isn’t supported. Multiple author selection could be considered in a future update if suggested, but linking a single quote to multiple members isn’t planned.

This isn’t built-in yet, but it’s a great idea! We encourage you to post it as a feature suggestion in our support forum.
