You're saying you installed the windows version on a mac?

That's not even possible.

It was possible as i did and it ended up being faulty.

I looked up filezilla and downloaded it without thinking it was for a mac.

Looked up filezilla for mac and downloaded that one and now it's working ok.

Sorry, you're wrong.

You may well have installed an old mac version or something else but there's no way a windows version will run directly on a mac. There's lots of reasons why (re)installing it might have fixed a problem but none of those are because you used a windows version.

Well it happened.

I was reading the installation thing of the upgrades and in it was saying windows.
It had me scratching my head.

Have sent in a ticket to get some help with it.
