XF 2.1 Where to import .xml's from addons?

I can't seem to find where to import .xml's for addons. I tried to do so at the add-ons section in the ACP but it only allows zip files. ( And uploading the ZIP file that it is in doesn't work. )

That addon is only for XF 1.X. You've tagged the post here as a 2.1.. if so, that's why. Here's the manual on how to install an add-on for XF2.

So is there no way to add a XF 1.X addon on 2.1?

Nope. Different software package altogether.

Also, XF2.x has Widget's built in. You might not even need that addon.
