XF 2.2 whats_new_new_posts - short delay of correct link

Hi all,

pretty often, there is a short delay between the correct link in the whats_new_new_posts. If you click right after someone posted someting new, you land somwehre in the thread, but not at the newest post. Whats up with this?

The content on the what's new post isn't dynamically updated.

Clicking the title will take you to the first unread post, clicking the timestamp will take you to the latest post but it's possible a new post is made in the interim due to caching.

Yes I thought that, can you speed up caching somehow?
