I have a Xenforo forum with about 1.2 million posts and a vbulletin 4.x both on mddhosting and couldn't be happier with the provider.  They answer support tickets in about 5 minutes, and the service is very fast - even on their shared and reseller servers.   Using mariadb with litespeed, php 7.4, ssd, storpool based, unlimited bw, and cpanel.

If still shopping, you may want to consider them too.  They have a bunch of Xenforo customers, according to the tech I spoke with.
