XF 2.1 User can hide categories

Hi all,

Is there an add-on or customisation that allows users to hide a category if they don't wish to see it.

An instance is a user is 18+ plus when they sign up and a category is visible for them but they don't wish to see it so they want to remove it from view.

I use this which allows users to ignore forums

I don't think it (yet) includes ignoring whole categories.
