XF 2.2 Upvoting permissions

Hi all!

I am just getting ready to upgrade my live forum with the XF 2.2 version. One thing I have noticed is that a newly registered member can upvote or downvote any post by two votes. Is there something in the user group permissions that can disallow this? Or is this a bug or possible conflict with a plugin?

An admin like myself can only make 1 vote - not 2. So something is up, or I have missed something? Help please

If I remember correctly it's an illusion, Johnny decides to down vote your post (it has 5 votes), so now it sites at 4 votes. He later changes his mind and upvotes, taking it to six votes (original 5 votes, plus Johnny's new vote = 6, which it should be at. But to Johnny it looks like a 2 vote swing).

Then again I could be way out in left field.

Yes. I just tested.

This thread is at 0

I downvoted it to -1

I then upvoted it by clicking twice and it went from -1 to 0 to 1

I think that seems as expected. From -1 You add two votes, ie you retract a downvote then add an upvote
