XF 2.3 Unusual Spike in Guest Members

I suddenly noticed a massive increase in guest members, even though the usual count is only around 5–10. Could this be a sign of bot activity or something else? (I'm not very experienced with site security.)

I notice this too, since November.
I have a rate limit of 15 requests max per minute (non-static request), but it seems some requests still pass through.

My normal guest visitors are 2-3k only, but now I got this, and it's not even peak hours.



I think they are AI bots.
